| Republic City, the capital of the United Republic of Nations, is a large metropolis located on the shores of Yue Bay. It is located in the northwestern Earth Kingdom near the Mo Ce Sea. A colony of the Fire Nation during the Hundred Year War, the city was founded by Fire Lord Zuko and Avatar Aang after the conflict's conclusion as a settlement housing citizens from all four nations. Being a modern urban center, Republic City hosts significant high-rise development and widespread use of automobiles, motorcycles, and airships. They have since advanced to harnessing electricity provided by Firebenders to use for power, light and other daily necessities. Moderator: Moderators

| | Central City Station is the city's main hub of transportation, though in recent years, it has been less utilized due to the advent of the Satomobile. However, it remains a busy commercial area. At the entrance of Central City Station is a statue in the honor of Fire Lord Zuko. Moderator: Moderators

| | The City Hall is a center for governance in Republic City, and is also a venue for public press conferences and gatherings, with a large square before its front doors. While the public building has an entrance typical of traditional architecture from the Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation, its distinctive features, a large dome and four corner towers, is certainly a new style developed after the Hundred Year War. Meetings of the City Council are held here. The Council consists of a representative from each nation as well as one non-benders. Moderator: Moderators

| | The police headquarters, often referred to simply as "Headquarters", is the base of operations for the metalbending police, and is where criminals that were apprehended by the police are bookied and jailed. The architecture of the police headquarters is comparable to that of standard Earth Kingdom buildings, with both the exterior and the interior being largely geometrical in design. | | Yue Bay, named after princess Yue, is a tranquil place. It surrounds the city and, at night, is known for its beautiful reflections of city lights. It is said that, when the moon is full, you can sometimes see Princess Yue's reflection in the water, smiling up at the city. Moderator: Moderators

| | | Aang Memorial Island is a small island off the coast of Yue Bay, located nearby Air Temple Island. It features a massive sculpture of Avatar Aang created by the Fire Nation some years after the end of the Hundred Year War for display in the bay of Republic City, where it would stand as a symbol of peace and goodwill. | | Pro-bending is the most popular sport in Republic City, and official pro-bending matches are held in the city's Pro-bending Arena. As a testament to the sport's popularity, this building has a golden appearance and is lit at night, making it a prominent city landmark. The arena is spacious enough to hold the pro-bending ring on which the contestants compete, a large pool of water far below the ring, and great numbers of spectators. | The Southern Air Temple is the largest, and currently the most populated, of all the remaining air temples. | | Ba Sing Se is the titanic capital of the Earth Kingdom, encompassing nearly all of the northeast corner of the kingdom. It was the last great Earth Kingdom stronghold after the fall of Omashu. The city is by far the largest city in any of the four nations. Ba Sing Se means "impenetrable city", the city is so named for its two world-famous walls, the gates of which have no hinges or other hardware and are opened by use of earthbending. | | The Serpent's Pass is a narrow strip of land between two large lakes, that links the Southern and Northern halves of the Earth Kingdom. It is one of the very few direct paths to the capital, Ba Sing Se. It is named after the serpent which guards the point where the East and West lakes meet. At this point the Serpent's pass for a short distance disappears under the lakes. All of this makes the pass feared in the Earth Kingdom.
