The other two girls in the family, Xiang and Diao Chan, are also non-benders but not as profoundly against them as her father and mother are. Kayoke's aunt, Zhao, is an air bender that is often cast off by her family. When Kayoke realizes her bending powers, she goes to live with her aunt when her parents no longer want anything to do with her.
