ML'S Benders and Non-Benders

Hello, and Welcome to ML'S Character topic. I ask that you please not post anything off topic, or silly. If anything like that is found posted in my topic, I will ask an admin or mod, if they would kindly delete it. Along the lines of dibbing, I would like if you PMed me, about dibbing my characters.


Information:

Character Number 1:


Blaze, Fire-bender

Name: Blaze
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen
Family: Paternal Great- Grandfather Zuko. Blaze is descended directly from ex-firelord Zuko. Blaze was never old enough to met her great grandfather. Though she has heard plenty of stories about him. From what she's heard, Blaze thinks that he was a great person, who's had some troubles in life. She also says that there is a few simularities between herself and her great grandfather.

Paternal Grandfather- Roku (Not to be confused with the Avatar, this is a different Ruko, the youngest son of Zuko.) Roku, died when Blaze was ten years old, so she had the chance to get to know him pretty well. She was always very close with her grandfather. He was the first person to teach Blaze, firebending. When Roku died, Blaze was very sad and fell into a slight depression. Luckily she got over her depression. but she still gets sad hearing about her grandfather.

Paternal Grandmother- Ming. Blaze adored her grandmother, and loved being able to see her when she was a young child. Unfortunently, Ming died when Blaze was only five, so Blaze didn't really know her grandmother. Infact Blaze barely has any memory of her grandmother. Most of Blaze's memory of the women, come from stories and what people have told her.

Father- Huo. Huo was the youngest of Ruko and Blaze's children, by five years, his older siblings include his older brother Aang, his other brother Sozin, and his older sister Ursa. Huo and Blaze have always been extremely close. Being a firebender himself, Huo was always able to instruct Blaze in the art, after the death of his father Ruko. Being a distant heir to the fire nation throne, Huo has some wealth meaning he doesn't have to work, but he chooses to do so. Huo is a leader in the fire nation army, he always owns a tea shop.

Mother- Azar. Azar is a good mother, who knows how to take care of her children. Descended from a general in the fire nation army, Azar's family had wealth. Blaze likes her mother, but they have creative differences, and as much as they try they can not get a long all of the time. Infact most of the time, they don't get along or they try to stay away from each other.

Older-Brother- Soren. Blaze and Soren, have always been very close. Soren has always been there to protect Blaze. Their relationship, is one of those loving siblings relationships, where the older brother is protective of his younger sister. Soren is not a firebender himself, but he doesn't care. He tries to help Blaze as much as he can with her training.

History: Blaze was born into the royal family of the fire nation. Her great-grandfather had been the first Firelord after the 100 year war. All of this of course makes Blaze an heir to the throne, distant though. A lot of people would have to die, or deny the throne before Blaze could have her chance at becoming Fire Lord.

Blaze grew up in the capitol city of the Fire Nation. However at the age of twelve, Blaze started to attend a fancy private school for benders. This school really helped her to control her bending. Not to mention they helped her in the art of acrobatics and gymanstics, which comes in handy when bending. All of this, plus help from family, has helped to make Blaze a better bender.

When Blaze was fourteen, she decided she wanted to travel the world. Her parents agreeded to this, and gave Blaze a large sum of money, a messenger hawk and a necklace made out of volcanic rock. Blaze then set out to travel the world, by herself. The first place on her list was Republic City, here she met a few friends. These friends later joined her on her travels. Blaze has been traveling ever since, occasionly going home for important events and visits.
Physical Appearance: Blaze has long dark brown hair, reaching around chest level. Her hair is naturally curly, but however it's not extremely curly. Sometimes her hair even appears to be straight, which she can't explain. The under parts of her hair, have streaks of red, orange, and yellow, the colors of fire. For some odd reason, Blaze has actually born with her hair like that, but most people tend to think that she dies it. Blaze likes to pull her hair back, so that it is out of her face. She hates when her hair falls into her face, it just gets into the way.

Blaze has large, dark brown eyes. Around the pupils, there are small flecks of red, and orange. When she gets really mad, Blaze's eyes turn a red-ish color. Blaze has no idea, how her eyes change colors so she naturally can not explain this to others. Her eyes are very full of emotion. Just by looking into Blaze's eyes you can tell if she is mad or upset.

Blaze likes to keep herself in shape, and she does a job at it. She is skinny, but not too skinny, she has visable muscule. Most of her muscule is in her legs, with some in her arms. Of course Blaze is not overly muscular, she's just right. She is skightly taller than some of the girls her age, standing at 5'8''. From practice, Blaze has become very good and skilled at acrobatics, she is also able to run across walls, and do a lot of things like that.
Personality: Blaze is a very strong girl, mentally speaking of course. She is able to fight for, and stand up for he beliefs with out any trouble. She is able to put up a good fight, using witty comebacks and intellegent answers and not to mention riddles. Blaze is highly intellegent, and she uses this to help herself. Blaze is highly observant, and she notices small details about people which she uses to help herself. She has a quick temper, which can get to be pretty nasty. A lot of times Blaze can be unsure about what to do, the choice being the good thing or the bad thing. Blaze can be a bit of a sore loser, if things don't go her way. Not to mention she complains a lot, about every little thing and she is annoyed very easily. To sum it all up, Blaze can be a biotch, but if you look at some of her famly history, you can find an explaination for this.

Blaze is actually a very sweet girl. She loves meeting new people, and making friends. Blaze is also a very gentle person, which a lot of people find very hard to believe. Blaze is just a very misunderstood person. She is also not sure of her path in life quite yet. She is also used to being ignored, so when people pay attention she can be mean. Blaze is the type of person, who is able to jump in and take charge of a situation.

Blaze like anyone else has her fears, and flaws. For one she is deathly afraid that someday someone will come in and wipe away all her power. She is also afraid of losing her bending powers, she's heard that its possible and she wouldn't like to find it out the hard way. Blaze is also worried that no one likes her, and that they pretend to like her because of her status. Blaze also craves power, and being in control.
Positive Traits:
1. Blaze has the makings of being a very good leader.
2. Blaze is very confident in herself.
3. Blaze is a very friendly person, who has an easy time be-friending others.
Negative Traits:
1. Blaze has a very quick temper, she is angered very easily.
2. Blaze has a major problem with holding grudges against people, for both major and minor problems.
3. Blaze has a tendency to not want to give up on her ideas, once her minds set on it.
4, Blaze doesn't always think through her ideas.
5. Blaze has a lot of self pride.
Pets: A koala-sheep named Zuko after her great grandfather. A messenger hawk.

Character 2:


Niran Raiden Ali, Water-bender.


Name: Niran Raiden Ali
Gender: Male
Age: Fifteen.
Family:
• Kovit Ali, father. Kovit grew up in one of the many small villages of the Southern Water Tribe. His family never had a lot of money, well actually they hardly had any money at all. They lived a hard life, barely having enough food to survive. It was then that Kovit promised himself that his family would never live like this. From that day forward, Kovit started to work hard, train phyiscally, and to study. Kovit was a young man who was already starting a sucessful career when he met Charoen a young lady, from another Southern Water Tribe village. The two of them started dating, and eventually married. By the time of the marriage, Kovit had built a very succesful fishing industry and later a shiping business, and had a rather large amount of money. It was then when Kovit and Charoen decided to start their family. There first child was a bright and bubbly little girl named Kalaya. After Kalaya came a little boy they called Niran, then after Niran came another little boy called Sanun. Kovit loved his children dearly, but work became very stressful as his business expanded. Then Kovit started having clients who came to visit, that is when he started to expect his children to behave at all times and to remain neat and orderly.

• Charoen Ali, mother. Charoen grew up in one of the many small villages of the Southen Water Tribe. Her father was a tribal chief, and a warrior so their family had a lot of respect. As a child and when she was older, Charoen was always a studious and well poised young lady. When she was a young women, she met her feature husband Kovit, a fellow Southern Water Tribe memeber, who was currently starting a fishing industry and shiping business. Charoen and Kovit soon began dating, and were later married. The couple then started a family, and were blessed with three children, Kalaya, Niran, and Sanun. As Kovit's businesses grew, Charoen felt her live changing. Her husband became strict, and crueler, forcing his wife and children to behave. Yet, Charoen was almost blinded by her love for Kovit, they she didn't do anything to stop this.

• Kalaya Ali, older sister. Kalaya is the oldest child, and only daughter of Kovit and Charoen Ali, and the older sister of Niran and Sanun. Kalaya was always smiling and happy, as a baby and later as a child. Kalaya is a very smart and intellegent girl, who enjoyed reading. She was almost always found either reading, or at the very least holding a book. When her fathers businesses started to grow, Kalaya was the first to noticed her fathers changes. Yet, she really had know idea how to act, which caused her to just go along with everything. Kalaya really never cared for her life, it was always to complicated. She hated how they we're excepted to behave at all times, and to never step out of line.

• Sanun Ali, younger brother. Sanun is the youngest child of Kovit and Charoen Ali, and the younger brother of Kalaya and Niran. Sanun was also a quiet child, who prefered to observe rather than talk. Due to this, Sanun was a very intellegent child. His father found Sanun, to be the most promising of his children, and promised him to the family business. At first Sanun was happy to hear this but then he realized it wasn't fair, Niran or Kalaya deserved it not him, he was the youngest. Yet, Sanun didn't try bringing this up with his father. When his father started to act harsh and cruel, Sanun decided to behave, so he wouldn't get hurt.

Occupation: Even though he doesn't need to work Niran works as a waiter at Nartook's Seaweed Noodlery.
Element: Water
History: Niran is the second child, and oldest son of Kovit and Charoen Ali, the younger brother of Kalaya and the older brother of Sanun. Unlike his siblings, Niran had no extrodinary intellegence, he was considered dumb compared to them, which was unfair, Niran is smart but in his own way. As a child, his father constantly over looked anything important that Niran did, including when Niran discovered he was a water bender. Countless times, Niran tried to tell his father, but the man always shooed him away. For a while Niran, put up with it but then he began to grow angry. He would start acting out and disobeying his father. Not to mention, Niran began to see a water bender, to learn how to master his element.

One day Niran, overheard his father telling Sanun that he would inherit the family business, which really angered Niran. He was the oldest son, he should inherit the business, not Sanun. Yet Niran decided not to confront his father or brother about this, instead he decided to wait to act. From there on, Niran began to plot his revenge, he was going to show his father he wasn't worthless. Niran then began to study hard, and practicing his bending. He grew into a smart young man, and a good water bender.

The day soon came for Niran to confront his family. He woke early, and packed all of his bags, and took them outside, where they would be easy to grab, and also not be stolen. Niran then snuck into the breakfast chamber, and waited for his family. When everyone was gathered, Niran stood up and turned to his father, and started to yell at the man for being such a horrible parent. Niran then unleashed a display of his water bending. Niran then ran out of the room, stoping to grab his Otter-Penguin, Niran then grabbed his bags and fled to the docks. Here Niran put on a disquise, and borded a boat bound for Republic City.

Once in Republic City, Niran began his new life, and hiding from his family. Even though he had taken large sums of money, Niran lived a simple life and even got a job. Now he has a comfortable life in Republic City, attending classes, working, and learning to master water bending. However Niran lives in fear of someone recognizing him and turning him over to his parents, or his parents finding him.

Physical Appearance: Unlike most people of the Southern Water Tribe, or the Northern Water Tribe for that matter, Niran has blond hair. His blond hair is cut short, and often he combs it off to the right of his face. His eyes are a pretty light blue color, like most of the other water tribe members. Niran has pale, white skin that doesn't get much color to it, except for when it's exposed to the sun for a long time. Since he grew up in the Southern Water Tribe, Niran has had to adjust to living in a different climate, and dealing with sunburn.

Niran is around average height, maybe a bit shorter. He's around 5'7'', which isn't extremely tall, but you can't call him short either. He's got a pretty good build, he's not fat and he has some muscule. Niran's arms have some muscule, but not enough that its gross, his legs mainly his calves also have muscule. Niran has fairly long arms, and big hands with medium sized fingers. His feet are on the smaller side being around a size ten, which makes him a bit disporportioned.

Personality: Niran is a very misunderstood person, people always judge him and think poorly of him because he's a bit different. You see, Niran has some form of learning disability that make him think differently than others, and makes it harder to learn. Despite this Niran is a loud, and happy person. He enjoys being able to chill with friends, and have a good time. Niran is very humorous, always cracking jokes. Niran can be very emotional, getting upset easily or letting his anger take control of himself. He is also fluent in sarcasam, which means he uses a lot of sarcasam.

Although he might not be the smartest one of the bunch, Niran is good at problem solving, especially riddles. Niran is also very loyal to his friends. He has some issues with trust, it takes a lot of work for Niran to trust someone, however once he trusts you, you should feel blessed for managing to gain Niran's trust, seeing that many people don't have it. Niran is also a very gentle person, he would never hurt anyone or anything on purpose, but in rage he has been known to harm people. Niran also has a tendency to lie, a lot about small things and big things.

Niran has his flaws like everyone else. He has a pretty nasty temper if you do anything to make him mad. He is also a very paranoid person. Not to mention that he fears people won't accept him for who he is. Niran is also very impatient, he hates having to wait his turn. Niran also has a problem with holding grudges, and having to get revenge.

Character Number 3:


Nadiya Mai Zala, Non-bender

Name: Nadiya Mai Zala
Gender: Female
Age: Seventeen
Family:
• Botan Zala- Father. Botan hails from Makapu Village, a town in the North Western reigion of the Earth Kingdom. When Botan was a young man, he was on a visit to Ba Sing Se, when he met his future wife Haya, working in a tea shop. For a while the two dated, before Botan asked Haya to come to Republic City with him. After moving to Republic City, the two settled down and eventually had four children. Botan found a job as a memeber of the Republic City Police Force, because he is able to use his earth bending and metal bending. Botan is very strict, and he likes his family to remain orderly and keep a perfect image. He can still be a loving father, even though he appears to be mean and even cruel. Botan is a earth bender, able to metal bend.

• Haya Zala- Mother. Haya used to work as a waitress at a tea shop in Ba Sing Se, however when she was in her twenties, she met Botan. From the start the two were smitten. Soon she moved to Republic City with him, and the two wed. For a while Haya worked as a Kuang's Cuisine. However she soon quit when she became pregenet with the twins. After the birth of the twins, and her two other children, Haya had become a stay at home mom. Haya is a kind and gentle women, who cares about her family. As long as everything is good, and everyone in happy, Haya is happy.

• Aki Zala- Older Brother. Aki is the first born child of Botan and Haya Zala, the older faternal twin brother of Kyu Zala, and the older brother of Tuyen and Nadiya Zala. Aki has always been the child, who likes sticking his face into a book. He is often found reading, or learning in some way. Aki is scrawny, and not much of a hard worker, as he prefers to learn. He currently works as a teacher at a school in Republic City.

• Kyu Zala- Older Brother. Kyu is the second born son of Botan and Haya Zala, the younger faternal twin brother of Aki, and the older brother of Tuyen and Nadiya Zala. Unlike his twin, Kyu has always prefered sports and hard work to learning. As a result, Kyu is stronger than Aki. Kyu is a harder worker than his brother, and also more of a ladies man. Currently Kyu works at Kuang's Cuisine as an assitant chef, but he plans to go on to become the owner of a training center for benders. Kyu is an earth bender.

• Tuyen Zala- Older Sister. Tuyen is the oldest daughter of Botan and Haya Zala and the younger sister of Aki and Kyu, and the older sister of Nadiya. Like her older brother Aki, Tuyen enjoys reading and leanring. However, she's not quite as obsessed as Aki, she does do other things. Currently Tuyen is working in a pet shop, in Republic City. It's not her ideal job, but it pays well. She dreams of owning a Tea Shop.
Occupation: Waitress who dreams of becoming a chef and opening her own resteruant. .
History: Nadiya Mai Zala, is the youngest child of Botan and Haya Zala and the younger sister of Aki, Kyu, and Tuyen. The youngest of four, Nadiya had privalages, and then a tough life. Her parents excpeted her to be like her older siblings, which Nadiya couldn't stand. Sure she loves her siblings, but she wants to be her own person, not a clone. Nadiya often spent time trying to figure out who she was, she went through a lot of phases, one being a rebelious stage. After her rebilous stage, Nadiya's parents decided to give her a little more freedom, from their strict rule. However to make sure Nadiya didn't have to much freedom, Botan and Haya were very careful with what freedom they gave Nadiya. All of this, made Nadiya grow to dislike her parents.

Growing up Nadiya attended one of the best schools in Republic City. She was even in the top of her class. However, Nadiya really didn't care about any of this. Infact she almost got expelled for not caring about home work. After that she took a more serious attitude towards her school work. Growing older, Nadiya started to try finding her true friends. She managed to find a couple, and get hurt in the process. At the end of everything, her one true friend was a boy named Hiro.

Now adays, Nadiya lives at home and still goes to school. In her spare time she works as a waitress to earn money. When she gets enough money, Nadiya plans to move out. After she moves out, Nadiya wants to become the owner of her own resteruant. She keeps these plans secret, because she knows her parents wouldn't approve. Not that she scares what they think, but Nadiya doesn't want them to stop her.
Physical Appearance: Nadiya has long blond hair. Through out her hair, there are natural highlights of brown and a darker shade of blond. Nadiya's hair is naturally curly, but not curly like an afro, loose curls. She doesn't really care about the style of her hair, she will wear it up or down. Nadiya only cares about her hair being clean, she does not like dirty hair.

Nadiya has large, wide bright blue eyes. This is very unusual for people of the earth nation to have blue eyes, but there is a lot of blood mixed into her family. The color of her eyes are what some people would call sky blue. Her eyes are always full of emotion, just by looking at them you can tell her mood. However Nadiya is able to somewhat not show her mood through her eyes.

Nadiya is in shape, she's not uber skinny or fat. She spends time execerising, so she is in shape. However the extint of Nadiya's exercise is running, some climbing, biking, and yoga. She weighs a comfortable 120 pounds, and stands at a height of 5'5''. Nadiya has visable muscule on her arms and calves.
Personality: Nadiya is a very friendly person. She is loud, and bubbly, and well just talkitive. She has actually scared people before by how much she can talk. This girl can just go on and on about pretty much any topic. Nadiya is very a outgoing person. Also, she is very confident in herself, and in others. Nadiya is also very incouraging and helpful towards others. For the most part, Nadiya tries to be nice and friendly. However she does have a temper, and well thats never good. She's known to get her revenge on people.

Something important about Nadiya, is that she tries to be herself. She's not what peopel call fake. She's herself, she doesn't do things because others might like it. She does things because she likes it. Nadiya is a very orignal person, coming up with her own ideas and statements. Nadiya is also very artistic.

Nadiya has her flaws, as does every other single human being. For one she does have a rather nasty temper. She also has a taste for revenge, and it tastes a lot like steak, once you've started you can't stop. Nadiya also has a fear of extremely high and not safe places. She also has fears of drowning, and burning alive. Nadiya also has a slightly rebellious additude.

Zian Ryuu Chen, Fire-bender

Name: Zian Ryuu Chen
Gender: Male
Age: Twenty
Family:
• Dara Chen, father. Dara grew up in Fire Fountian City, a large industrial city, home to the statue of Fire Lord Zuko. Dara's childhood was simple, but in a good way. His parents raised him to be humble, and not to ask for too much. When he was a young man Dara met Bian, while on vacation at Ember Island. Soon the two dated, and later married. After the wedding, the two we're blessed with two boys Zian and Heng. By this time Dara, had become a general in the Fire Nation Army. Even though he was in the army, Dara was still a humble man.

• Bian Chen, mother. Bian had a luxiourous childhood, always spoiled by her parents. However, she never cared for this life, and tried
to tell her parents but she was always quieted. Her life was pretty miserable, because Bian hated it. However when she was a young women and visiting Ember Island, she met Dara Chen a young man from Fire Fountian City. She was attracted to him, and soon they begin to date. The couple later married and had two sons Zian and Heng. As a mother, Bian was a very gentle and caring women.

• Heng Chen, younger brother. Heng is the second son and youngest child of Dara and Bian Chen, and the younger brother of Zian. Heng has always been more like his father, humble. Instead of spending his money, he prefers giving it away to the less fortunate people. Heng used to always look up to his older brother, that is until he realized that Zian wasn't the greatest role model. Now, he tries to help his brother without success.

Personality: Zian gives off a aura, that makes everyone think that he's a real jerk. Sure he's done somethings in his past, that make him look like a jerk, but he's really not a jerk. He's just a misunderstood young man, who has trouble showing people his real self. More the once has Zian heard that he's not right in the head, which is a lie he's perfectly normal. Well except for the sudden bursts of anger that he gets, besides that he's normal. Zian is highly intellegent, and uses this to his personal advantage. He is also highly obeservant, which he uses to study his oponinents before a dual, so he is able to use their weaknesses to win. Zian is not good with relationships of any kind, and he has a hard time knowing how to treat people, often he ends up just using them.

If you were to really get to know Zian, you would be amazed. The real Zian is a very sweet and caring person. However due to a accident, Zian acts like a cold and heartless person.

Aran Kyoshi Hara, Earth-bender

Name: Aran Kyoshi Hara
Gender: Male
Age: Seventeen
Family:
• Rintaro Hara, father. Rintaro Hara met his wife Akemi at a local market in Gaoling on one of his travels. At first site of his future wife, Rintaro was in love, he practically had to beg Akemi to even consider dating him. She was the rich girl, and he was the middle class guy. However, after their first date the two begin to see each other more often. Eventually they began to date, and then they later married. The two of them then settled down in Ba Sing Se, where Rintaro found a job as carpenter, and Akemi opened a resteruant. The couple then had their first children the oldest twins Rui and Ryo, soon after they had another set of twins Akio and Aran, and then they had yet another set of twins Sae and Sen. Rintaro managed to keep a orderly family, and was a good head of the family, keeping alll of the boys in line.

• Akemi Hara, mother. Akemi was a rich girl living in Goaling when she met Rinataro at a market, and began to date him. After a long time of dating, the two wed. The couple then moved to the great walled city of Ba Sing Se. Here they settled down, and found work Rintaro as a carpenter, and Akemi owning and operating a restuerant. Soon the couple had there first set of children twin boys named Rui and Ryo, a few years later they had yet another set of twin boys Akio and Aran, then a few years later they had yet another set of twin boys Sae and Sen. Akemi now spends most of her time, taking care of her boys. After all, it's a l ot of work raising six boys.

• Rui Hara, older brother. Rui is the oldest son of Rintaro and Akemi Hara, the older twin brother of Ryo, and the older brother of Akio, Aran, Sae and Sen. Rui is the leader out of all the children, he's like the ringmaster, anything they do he's in charge of it. He's also rather bossy, telling his siblings what to do and what not to do. Rui also has a tendency to flea or play innocent when trouble finds the Hara brothers. Rui is not the smartest of the lot, infact he's rather dumb. He has no idea what to do with his life, not that he cares.

• Ryo Hara, older brother. Ryo is the second eldest son of Rintaro and Akemi Hara, the younger twin brother of Ryo, and the older brother of Akio, Aran, Sae, and Sen. Unlike his twin brother, Ryo is more of the sidekick, forced to go along with ideas. Often he even argues against Rui's ideas, but he ends up involved anyways. Ryo is a very smart and levelheaded person, who dreams of becoming a teacher.

• Akio Hara, twin brother. Akio is the twin brother of Aran, the younger brother of Rui and Ryo, the older brother of Sae and Sen, and the son of Rintaro and Akemi. Akio is a very quiet person, who prefers to watch instead of being a participant. His true talent is planing and battle strategy. Akio some how always manages to get caught up in his brothers pranks, and he's sick and tired of getting in trouble. He's secretly thinking of turning Rui over to the cops.

• Sae Hara, younger brother. Sae is the second youngest son of Rintaro and Akemi Hara, the younger brother of Rui, Ryo, Akio, and Aran, and the older twin brother of Sen. Sae is a the smallest out of all of the brothers and because of this he is often picked on. Actually, Sae is harrased by all of his brothers, even Sen. Because of all of this, Sae is very quiet and sensitive. He gets upset very easily, he is also very emotional. Lets not forget that Sae falls an easy victum to peer pressure.

• Sen Hara, younger brother. Sen is the youngest of Rintaro and Akemi's sons and the younger brother of Rui, Ryo, Akio, Aran, and Sae. Unlike his twin, Sen is bigger and not as emotional. Sen is honestly more of a blockhead, he never notices anything and he is quite stupid. Honestly his family thinks he has mental issues, but they're not sure what to do with him. Sen's family just kind of keeps him around, not sure at all what to do.
Occupation: Aran works at a pet store, he also works as a waiter at a resteruant.

History: Aran is the son of Rintaro and Akemi Hara, he is the younger brother of Rui and Ryo, the twin brother of Akio and the older brother of Sae and Sen. His family lives in the Earth Kingdom city of Ba Sing Se. Because they have such a large family, Aran had to go work as soon as he was able, to be able to pay for clothing and other things he needed. From a young age, Aran knew he was a earthbender. At the age of eight, Aran started his training to become an earthbender. Even at this age, people could tell that Aran was a much stronger earthbender than others.

When Aran was old enough, he applied for and got into a elite private school for benders, in the upper ring of Ba Sing Se. It was a very difficult school, but Aran managed to handle it. Then when Aran was around the age of seventeen, his parents decided it was time to let him travel. The young boy was then sent to Republic City, with a small amount of money, a few sets of clothing, his instrament, and a emerald. Soon after ariving in Republic City, Aran found a place to live. He then found a job at a resteruant, and he also found a job at a pet store.

In his spare time, Aran found several different ways to pass time. He countinued his training, this time with a elite earthbender. Aran also kept up with his schooling. Also, Aran began participating in Pro-Bending competitions, to pick up some extra cash when he needed it.
Physical Appearance: Aran has short light brown hair, with a few natural highlights of a carmel color, along with a darker brown/blackish color. Most of the time Aran either leaves his hair alone, or he styles it off to the side, and makes it stick up. Aran's eyes are a mix between a light green, hazel, and a light brown, sometimes appearing to be only brown. Aran's eyes don't give anything away, they appear to be stone cold, except for when he's happy, then theres a slight twinkle in his eyes. Above Aran's eyes are his eyebrows, which are pretty average looking, and the same color as his hair.

Aran is a rather tall person, and also rather lanky. He stands at a height of 6'1'', which is pretty tall compared to most people. He's in shape, but not extremely muscular, his appearnace is more lanky. His shoulders are slim, and he has very long skinny arms. At the end of his arms, are his hands which are big, with thin fingers. Aran's legs are long, with some slight muscule, he has more leg muscule than you would think, a lot of its just not that visable. Aran's feet are rather large, being a size fifteen.

Personality: Aran is what a lot of people would call a softy. He's very sweet, and he truely cares about others. The sight of someone hurting, from either physical or emotional pain, sickens Aran. He is a very friendly person, who enjoys meeting new people. Aran hates just standing by and watching people be hurt, so he tends to just jump into the middle of things to protect that person, even if he doesn't know them. Aran is very loyal to his friends and family, and he would do anything to protect them. He is also rather impulsive, he'll do things with out thinking about consequences, the same goes for things he says.

Aran is rather goofy, saying silly things and cracking jokes a lot of the time. However, when faced with danger or a serious choice, Aran can be a very serious person. Aran is a a fairly good actor, who can convince people he's fine when he's really not. Aran is also pretty good at telling when people are lying. He is also able to lie very easily. Aran is pretty intellegent, and he tries to be rational, but sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Like every other human being, Aran is flawed. He has a very quick and nasty temper, that has gotten him into trouble more than once. He is overly loyal to friends and family, and it has almost gotten him killed. Aran is also rather clumsy, with his big hands and feet. Let's not forget that Aran is pretty insecure about his height, and lack of physical strength.

Other: Lately Aran has tried mastering earth bending, like Toph Beifong, trying to use the earth to see and feel. He has gotten into the habit of going barefoot, and wearing a blindfold, trying to be as much like Toph as he can. Suprisingly Aran is pretty good at doing this, but no where near as good as Toph.
